Sambuca has come to Durham’s riverside. You’ll find us at The Riverwalk, right by the River Wear, a short stroll from the cathedral, the castle and the Market Place. Come in from a walk along the river, for a bite before a film at the Odeon next door, or after a long day of shopping. There’s always a table and a hearty feast waiting.
Start with garlic mushrooms, king prawns or potato skins. Then choose from pizzas, pastas, risottos and sizzling grills, and finish, of course, with tiramisu. There’s a menu for the little ones, a lunchtime deal that’s hard to beat, and Sunday dinners big enough to need a second walk along the river afterwards.
Families, friends, couples, students and visitors are all welcome. Pull up a chair, raise a glass and stay a while. There’s much to be enjoyed by the Wear.
